Welcoming New Staff

HE2RO would like to welcome Amy Huber as a Researcher, Joshua Murphy as Research Project Manager, Nokhwezi Mabutyana (Ekurhuleni), Tebogo Mampheko (Limpopo), Mishak Masingi (North West), and Nomzama Mvandaba (Kwazulu-Natal) as Provincial Study Co-Ordiantors  on a new project entiitled "Evaluation of the National Department of Health's National Adherence Guidelines for Chronic Diseases in South Africa Using Routinely Collected

A selection of HE2RO staff will be attending SA AIDS in Durban from 9th to 12th June 2015. HE2RO will have a stand at the conference and HE2RO staff are presenting 6 poster presentations, 2 oral presentations, are on the panel of 2 round tables and two satellite sessions. HE2RO wins NIH Funding

HE2RO has been awarded a five year grant from the National Institutes of Health to fund a new project; Analysis of National Lab Database to evaluate the HIV treatment rollout in South Africa. Congratulations to the PI, Dr Mhairi Maskew for winning this 

HE2RO hosting Swedish Medical Students

HE2RO will be hosting two Swedish 5th year Medical Students, Elin Bankel and Sara Dahlberg, for a 6 week internship.  Elin will be working on a TB Quality of Life Project and Sara will be working on Adherence to Second Line Antiretroviral
