Background

  • South Africa rolled out the Universal Test-and-Treat (UTT) in 2016 extending treatment eligibility to all people persons living with HIV (PLHIV) with improved access to newer drug regimens.
  • We sought to understand the experiences of living with HIV in the UTT era.
