Dr. Nyasha Mutanda

Dr. Nyasha Mutanda is a Senior Researcher at the Health Economics and Epidemiology Research Office (HE2RO). She holds Doctor of Philosophy and Masters degrees in the field of Demography and Population Studies from the University of Witwatersrand. Nyasha has 10 years experience in the fields of child health, under-five mortality, family and sexual and reproductive health research. Prior to joining  HE2RO, Dr. Nyasha was Demographer and interim Manager of the Child Health and Mortality  Prevention Study (CHAMPS) Health and Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS) in Soweto, South Africa. She is currently working on AMBIT (Alternative Models of ART Delivery: Optimizing the benefits) and Retain6 projects.
