Oratile Mokgethi

Oratile Mokgethi is a researcher at the Health Economics and Epidemiology Research Office (HE2RO). She obtained her qualifications at the University of the Witwatersrand, where she completed her Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences, an Honours Degree in Human Biology and Masters in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Prior to joining HE2RO, Oratile worked as a consultant for WHO (World Health Organisation) to support the Department of Health’s Response to COVID-19 and developed an evidence-based analysis that assisted in developing a resilience plan for essential health services that were impacted by the pandemic. She is currently working on the AMBIT project (Alternate Models of ART delivery: Optimising the benefits) which aims to provide differentiated models of ART delivery. Her other research interests include Maternal and Child Health; Sexual and Reproductive and Health; and non-communicable diseases among people living with HIV .
